Triad Community Unit School District #2 is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Josh Ackerman as the next Principal of Triad High School, beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. Mr. Ackerman was approved at the October School Board meeting.
A 1994 graduate of Triad High School, Mr. Ackerman has dedicated his entire professional career to the Triad community. Since joining the faculty in 1998 as a science teacher, he has served the district in multiple capacities, including assistant coach for several athletic programs and, most notably, as Triad High School Assistant Principal for the past 18 years.
Superintendent Dr. Jason Henderson stated, “Josh Ackerman’s deep connection to Triad, his proven leadership, and his unwavering commitment to our students and staff make him the ideal choice to lead Triad High School into its next chapter.”
Mr. Ackerman will officially assume the principal role on July 1, 2026. Please join us in congratulating him!
