ISBE Excellent Educator Team Awarded to Henning P.E. Teachers!
We would like to recognize two excellent educators who have been awarded the "Those Who Excel" award by the Illinois State Board of Education, specifically as in the team division "CA Henning Elementary School PE Department". We have two exceptional teachers, Mrs. Megan Hall and Mrs. Marissa Giuffre who both excel. Both of these staff members are passionate about health and fitness and show active collaboration within the professional learning community. These educators both have advanced degrees, Mrs. Hall has a specialist degree from SIUE and Mrs. Giuffre holds Masters degrees from Illinois State University and McKendree University. They are spokespeople in the building for a healthy lifestyle. They live and work a positive, healthy lifestyle and speak this positive message to students, parents, and staff members through their daily activities and messages as well as via social media. Our PE teachers hold yearly events at Henning to promote this lifestyle such as the “Bring your Parent To PE” in which all students in the PE classes at Henning and our annual field day, as well as rallying the school building with fundraisers to raise money for causes that were important to the school building and the community such as Triad Strong, Cardinal Glennon, and currently DASA, which is a local charity in St. Peters. Both of these Triad teachers also have a passion for what they teach, excitement in their classes, and know their students. This team, Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Giuffre, both excel and will be recognized by ISBE in May. Congratulations! #TriadProud
Henning Young Author and Illustrators Announced!
Congratulations to the winners of the Young Author and Illustrators for Henning this year! Information about the breakfast on March 8th, the county event, and medals will be sent home next week. Thanks to everyone who worked hard for this competition!

🚨 The 2024-2025 District Calendar was approved at last night's Board of Education Meeting and can be found on the homepage of our district and school websites. 🚨
Due to the forecasted freezing rain and ice and the potential for hazardous roads tomorrow morning, Triad CUSD #2 will conduct an e-Learning Day on Monday, January 22, 2024. Determinations regarding afternoon and evening extracurricular activities will be made by late morning tomorrow, and students participating in these activities will receive additional information from their respective school or coach regarding the status of events. Students and families should read the “Inclement Weather Update - January 2024” news article posted on the district and all school websites for additional information regarding e-Learning for each grade level band.
