Triad Families,
This message is being sent to prepare families for our intent to have students attend school in-person on Wednesday, January 8th.
We want to thank all of our local road crews who have worked tirelessly over the last few days treating and clearing our streets. Even so, we understand that not every street in our district is perfect. We have spoken with our transportation department, who have spent today checking bus routes in all areas of our district, and we are confident that our buses will be able to complete their routes tomorrow. Some bus stops may have snow where students usually wait, so we ask families to help supervise their children at the bus stop tomorrow and throughout this weather event to ensure they stay safe while waiting for the bus. If parents decide to drive their students to school, we will have extended drop-off times at each building. This adjustment ensures everyone will have ample time to navigate the road conditions safely.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get our students safely back into school.
Jason Henderson
Superintendent

Early Dismissal
All schools will dismiss one hour early.
Triad High School Student Dismissal on Exam Days - 12/19 and 12/20
We anticipate a high volume of parents picking up students at 12:27 PM on exam days (12/19 and 12/20) due to high school students being dismissed early at 12:27 PM. School buses will pick up at 2:10 PM on 12/19 and 1:10 PM on 12/20, and lunch will be available.
We kindly ask parents to arrive no earlier than 12:40 PM on 12/19 and 12/20. This allows student drivers to leave campus first, creating space in the parking lot for parent pick-up. At 12:40, parents will be directed to park in the B parking lot so that students can walk to their car so that everyone can exit promptly.
Parents arriving before 12:40 PM will be directed around the back of the school and asked to wait until 12:40 PM before picking up their students. If you arrive earlier than 12:40, you will be directed around the building.
Following this procedure will help minimize delays and improve traffic flow. We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and patience when dealing with the high traffic volume at pick-up times on Thursday and Friday. Thank you!
Thank you to Will Brotherton and Triad's Student Council for organizing this month's Board of Education report.
